Royal Rumble 2024 was supposed to be a clarifying factor that would lead the Road to WrestleMania 40. The ending paved the way for future endeavors and brought life to multiple storylines. However, one disappointment has occurred for the fans as The Rock is planned to replace Cody Rhodes. Rocky being in the place of The American Nightmare has not sat well among fans, and the same is the case with Seth Rollins now.
Speaking on Good Morning Football, Seth shared his thoughts on Rock’s involvement at WrestleMania. Rollins claimed that he was fine with Rocky coming back and riding his coattails on his way to Mania. He understands how WWE is at its best now; the business is soaring into the skies with sell-outs. Thus, Dwayne would also like to get on with the hype and make the most of his time in WWE.
Although The Visionary does not see the need for The People’s Champion to WWE right now, the vice versa would make more sense. Seth’s call to action recalled the ruler of Monday Night Raw for the past ten years being himself. Rollins’ classic statement boiled down his thoughts to his love for The Rock along with his current unessential presence in WWE. On behalf of the company, he stated that The Bramha Bull can have a little piece till WrestleMania 40 and go back to Hollywood.
So he can come in, he can get what he wants. He can take his little piece, and then he can go back to Hollywood and do his thing because we’ve got this thing. We don’t need ya, we’d love to have ya, but we don’t need ya, big guy.Seth Rollins about The Rock
The interruption of Rocky has disturbed the main event scenario at WrestleMania. Rhodes, even after winning the Rumble is forced to stay away from the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship rematch. On the other hand, Dwayne is being handed over the opportunity to dethrone Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins acknowledges the greatness of Roman Reigns
While speaking on Not Just Football, the World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins was concluding. The penultimate question came in the form of finishing the sentence that had to describe Roman Reigns. Cam Heyward asked Rollins to complete the line ‘Roman Reigns is’ and offered him time.
Seth took nearly 20 seconds of thought to state the perfect sentence for Reigns. He claimed how hard this format is and again pondered. To finally end his thought process, Seth landed on the statement that The Tribal Chief is one of the greatest to ever do this (professional wrestling).
I don't always agree with him (Roman Reigns) but he is one of the greatest to ever do it no doubt.Seth Rollins about Roman Reigns
The Visionary mentioned that he would say nice things about Reigns. He recalled the fact that both of them came up together, and thus, stated that they don’t get on the same page at times. But nothing can take away from the fact that the Reigns is one of the greatest individuals to have blessed the squared circle.
