Seth Rollins is 37 and his body has started to refrain. In some of his recent interviews, Rollins mentioned the deteriorating state of his back. This week on RAW, he basically confirmed it loud and clear. After Shinsuke Nakamura revealed what he whispered into Seth’s ears last week, The Visionary had to break it to everyone.

Last week on RAW, Nakamura whispered to Seth Rollins that he was cognizant of the latter’s longstanding back issues. The Japanese wrestler also highlighted how Rollins has been living in agony despite being a champion. The World Heavyweight Champion was interviewed backstage and asked to respond.

Seth Rollins revealed that he has two fractures in his lumbar spine. Consequently, he’s been living with it since 2016, and it has only gotten worse. Rollins broke hearts when he finally admitted that he’s not sure for how long he can continue to perform at this level. During the entire chat, the 37-year-old did not smile at all. It was like Colby Lopez, his real name, speaking to himself in the mirror.

Rollins and Nakamura are set to battle it out for the World Heavyweight Title at Payback. The challenger got featured in a brilliant video package on RAW. He spoke Japanese for the most part, which completely aggravated his recent turn on the champion. Although the outcome of their match might seem predictable, WWE has done a good job in building up The King of Strong Style as a viable threat for Rollins.

Reality hits hard when one realizes that Seth Rollins won’t probably be the World Heavyweight Champion for long. And he mentioned the reasons this week on RAW. He has a couple of cracks in his lumbar spine, and it takes a lot of toll to tango with them.

Seth revealed during Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast that he’s been ducking a possible surgery. That said, he might need to give a second thought to that. If he does end up taking that long surgery route to cure his back, he’ll definitely need time off. That’s what makes him more vulnerable to losing his title relatively soon.

Damian Priest has been lurking around the World Heavyweight Title for a while. He’s just waiting for the perfect opening to catch his prey. After Rollins supposedly survives Shinsuke Nakamura at Payback, Priest might run over Rollins to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and eventually end his reign.
