Seth “Freakin” Rollins is on a historic run as the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. ‘The Visionary’ defends the title whenever received a chance for it, proving himself as the epitome of a defending champion. His recently advertised matchup was for the special episode of SmackDown against Damian Priest. But the plans now seem to have altered as the venue’s website shows Finn Balor’s rematch with Rollins.
On June 5, episode of RAW, Rollins defended his championship against Damian Priest in a successful manner. Just a few days later, the same match was announced for the July 7 episode of SmackDown airing live from the iconic Madison Square Garden. Although as per this writing, the advertisement for that bout is nowhere to see a new source suggests another Judgment Day stablemate to be his opponent. As Balor is advertised to be battling Rollins on the MSG’s official website.
After their match at Money in the Bank, Balor will be looking forward to an opportunity within a week of his loss. As Priest and Seth’s match is altered, Priest could be seen getting involved during that episode or even the match showing his dejection. With the real aim of having Mr. Money in the Bank around the World Heavyweight Champion, it can impose a further threat on Seth. As well as it could widen the cracks between The Judgment Day members Priest and Balor.
The sold crowd of Madison Square Garden will be excited to see the fallout of Money in the Bank on the special episode. The grandness of the episode can be marked by the advertised segments/matches for this show. The selling point of this show will see the fallout of The Bloodline storyline holding Trial of Roman Reigns.
