WWE has a list of superstars who have either been released or have left the company on bad terms. A noteworthy name on the list is CM Punk. Punk left this industry back in 2014 after coming into bad terms with Vince McMahon. In an interview before the Royal Rumble, WWE superstar Seth Rollins targeted Punk and said some grating things. Rollins compared Punk to cancer and added that he did not want to see him in the company. Yet once again, the Visionary wasn’t reluctant to take a shot at CM Punk when asked in an interview. However, the Drip God ended things on a positive note this time.
In an interview with Covino & Rich, Seth Rollins took a shot at CM Punk and said that Punk is a selfish person. He said that he was not a fan of Punk. Moreover, the former Universal Champion also mentioned Logan Paul while speaking on Punk. Rollins said Punk and Logan both have different personalities, but when it comes to similarities, both are selfish. Furthermore, The Visionary said if someone doesn’t contribute to this industry, he doesn’t want them to be part of it. “[…] Punk and Paul are two different personalities, but they’re both as selfish as it comes. If you’re not going to help, I don’t want you to be part of our industry. I don’t want you to be part of our company, and that’s all that there is to that. […],” Rollins said.
During the interview, Seth Rollins stated that Punk has been in a different mindset for the last 6–7 years. As a result, they haven’t been on the same page since. Throughout his career, CM Punk has been surrounded by controversy. However, The Visionary believes that Punk has a lot to give and that there’s a place for him. It would have been better if he could have worked on his demeanour. Moreover, Rollins states that Punk has been like a mentor to him for most of his career. The Chicago star has contributed so much to his career that it pains him to speak negatively about him.
Rollins and Punk have a long history in the WWE. CM Punk is the person who brought Rollins onto the main roster as a member of the Shield. It was the inception of Rollins’ mainstream career. The former WWE star helped Rollins elevate his career during his initial days. After WWE released him, CM Punk was out of the ring for a long time. He made his much-awaited return on October 20, 2021, in All Elite Wrestling. On the subsequent episodes of AEW, Punk took shots at WWE. The AEW star did a lot of trash-talking about WWE, letting the world know that he still holds grudges against the company that made him a star.

Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania 39 plans
The Visionary is currently involved in the US title picture. He will compete in the Elimination Chamber match for the United States Championship. However, it appears that Seth Rollins will face Logan Paul at WrestleMania on the biggest night of the year. The Royal Rumble was an indication of that when the YouTube star eliminated Seth Rollins.
According to rumors, WWE has locked the match on their card for Wrestlemania 39. The WWE Universe would love to see a program between the two stars. It’s just a matter of time before the fans see the beginning of their storylines on the main roster to build up their match at The Showcase of The Immortals.
