Seth Rollins wants to face The Fiend in a match if he returns.
Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt both have been phenomenal athletes and in-ring performers as both have shared great matches, and rivalries in the past. While the two squared off as the part of their respective factions- The Shield and The Wyatt family. While Wyatt was released from the company last summer, Rollins prepares for his match at Summerslam against Riddle. The Fiend was let off last summer from the company in a shocking move and the superstar showed no signs of returning to wrestling.
But, now it seems that The Fiend is all ready to unleash himself again as the former Champion today updated his twitter bio to attach a quote reportedly told by Vince Mcmahon as he wrote- ‘“Begin again kid, it’s what you do”. -VKM (sic)’. The superstar has been posting crypted tweets from many months but every time the fans feel he is about to return, they’re left disappointed. Wyatt in another tweet also teased something related to the current vignettes running on Monday Night Raw.

Seth Rollins Wishes to face The Fiend, if he returns to WWE

Sharing an image from The Bible, the quote suggested “a door could be opened”. Though it would be interesting to see whether this door opens to Wyatt returning or this time as well it’s just a brainteaser for the fans. Nevertheless, fans and the wrestling world has gone crazy after listening the news of Wyatt’s potential return. And Wyatt just have got his first opponent after his return as well. The Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins expressed his desire to face The Fiend in a recent interview with The Metro UK.
Rollins said- ‘I mean, I hope that’s not the last time him and I have been in a ring together, I truly do – and I don’t think it will be. It really depends on a lot of external factors. At the end of the day, I would love to get back in there with him and create magic once again.’ Both men have gone under intense character development and changes over their careers. While Bray has mostly remained a heel, Seth has done major heel work as well. Adding to his comments, Rollins commented upon his working relationship with The Fiend- ‘We both had similar mindsets as far as always evolving our characters,’ Rollins said.
He also added- ‘Two completely different people outside of the business but there’s a kinship there when you share the ring with people that I think never really goes away.’ This indeed tells that two opponents which square off in a ring develop a relationship over a period of time. Rollins also said that he has always felt a connection with Wyatt even if they went on to pursuit different paths. Rollins explained- ‘One thing he and I always had was a little bit of a chip on our shoulder as far as, we were never the guy. We were never a Cena, we were never a Roman and so we couldn’t be static,’
