Fans caught CM Punk reference on Raw via Seth Rollins [via- WWE and Wrestling News on X]
Cry me a river; those were the words that Jack Perry yelled on camera at All In and CM Punk was released after a series of tumultuous events. This week on Raw, Seth Rollins uttered the same while addressing Drew McIntyre‘s comments. The Visionary felt sick of McIntyre’s repetitive excuses about not getting his WrestleMania moment the way he wanted and vented his frustration out on him.
Rollins reminded everyone of the COVID era that took away millions of lives. The World Heavyweight Champion asked McIntyre to stop resting on what went wrong with him and walk the talk instead. Seth told Drew that if he managed to beat him, The Architect would be the one who’d shake his hand first and call him a champion. Midway through his promo, Seth Rollins got blindsided by JD McDonagh.

They had a decent match, and Rollins put McDonagh away after a vicious curb stomp. After all that went down until Rollins was out there, fans on social media couldn’t help but tighten the screw on that potential CM Punk reference he made. Not once, Rollins said, “Cry me a river” twice. However, it’s getting to the point where WWE might be purposely playing with the fans.
According to some reliable sources, CM Punk and WWE are far apart at the moment. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has repeatedly suggested that neither of the parties has agreed to anything as such. If Punk is returning, it has to be a total shock. There are huge chances that the unnecessary brouhaha surrounding Survivor Series could all go in vain.
Seth Rollins needs to be wary of Damian Priest at Crown Jewel
After successfully overcoming JD McDonagh on Raw, Seth Rollins got into the face of Damian Priest, who was ringside. Rollins told Priest to make the move, with the latter flaunting his Money in the Bank briefcase. The Powerhouse of The Judgment Day called his cash-in inevitable and affirmed Seth to be careful of what he asked for.

Before leaving, The Visionary advised Damian Priest to not waste his cash-in opportunity on him. Earlier in the night, The Archer of Infamy even teased cashing in on Roman Reigns or LA Knight, if the latter manages an upset. However, it is quite apparent that Priest has been lurking around the World Heavyweight Championship.
However, the rumors suggest that if a cash-in is to happen, it would be on Seth Rollins. The Visionary captured the World Heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia at Night of Champions. What an irony it would be if he dropped it at Crown Jewel in Riyadh. It will be interesting to see how things shape up at the upcoming premium live event.
