Shawn Michaels is one of the greatest in ring performers of all time. Michaels has been a part of many five star matches in his career and was a complete entertainer. In addition to his exceptional in ring ability, Michaels was great on mic and his promos were a proof that the Showstopper had a great talent to run his mouth. Michaels made sure that the crowd would leave the building talking about him and involved himself in comedic segments, which were hilarious and entertained the crowd.
Shawn Michaels wrestled his last match at the 2010 WrestleMania against The Undertaker and thereafter he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2011. In the final years of his illustrious career, Michaels tried to break the Undertaker’s streak at the WrestleMania and has given two iconic matches against him at both WrestleMania 25 and 26. The two matches against The Undertaker are regarded as the best in WrestleMania history.
Shawn made some sporadic appearances after his retirement and even fought in several bouts, with his latest at the Crown Jewel 2018 against the brothers of destruction. The match was poorly received by critics as neither of the wrestlers have the capacity to fight like they used to before. Shawn confirmed going back to retirement after that bout.

D-Generation X is one of the finest stable that WWE has ever had. The group consist of Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac, Chyna, Triple H and Shawn Michaels, who were top superstars in the business. The group was influential in the development of attitude Era. D-X had a unique style with a touch of humor that captivated and entertained the crowd.
When the majority of the members weren’t there in the latter phases of the attitude era or PG era, Shawn Michaels and Triple H were enough to keep the D-X rolling. The chemistry between HHH and Michaels was terrific in the backstage moments, and they both performed flawlessly on the microphone. During a recent interview with the New York post Shawn Michaels opened up about Chyna. He said that Chyna wasn’t much of a talker but when she spoke, she had a nurturing mom effect on him. Michaels said that Chyna was a girl who gave good advice to you because she cared about you.
“She didn’t say a lot, but when she said something to me, it did, it almost had a nurturing mom effect on me and it’s just something where you realize it’s one thing to look at your buddy [Triple H] and not worry about hurting him and making him mad because he’s a man and needs to get over it. It’s another thing where there’s this girl who, one is giving you good advice because she cares but then, ‘hey, I also committed my life to you guys and took this on and didn’t know much about it and I’m trusting you.’ She was able to do that without guilting you.”
Chyna passed away in 2016 due to accidental drug overdose. Chyna was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a part of the D-Generation X. The Trailblazer was in a relationship with Triple H back then when she was a part of DX. The two broke up after dating for 4 years before eventually breaking up in 2000
