“I’ll STEAL it from Anyone” Shawn Michaels Talks about bringing Ideas and Wrestlers on Board in NXT

Shawn Michaels was last seen at the DX reunion as the popular faction celebrated its 25 years in the company. Michaels is often described as one of the greatest ever to step inside a WWE ring. Over his span of 30 years Michaels has gone on to become world champion 4 times and is a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion respectively.
Michaels was inducted into The Hall of Fame for having an illustrious career. The Heart Break Kid is often considered close to Triple H and is currently signed as the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative.
Shawn Michaels Talks about his plans for NXT

He currently manages NXT and has been in charge ever since its shift from the black and gold era. Michael’s experience is being fully utilized by the upcoming talent that is being signed to the developmental territory.
The future is also looking bright for NXT as more and more stars from the developmental territory are making it to the main roster and many main roster stars are making an appearance on NXT to make it bigger and better.
Shawn Michaels recently sat down with Ariel Helwani for an interview and talked about a variety of things. During the course of the interview Michaels was asked about his goals regarding NXT and if he could rebuild the status that the territory had gained during its golden years from 2016-2018.
To which Shawn Michaels said that he was currently focusing on developing the brand. He also said that nothing is off the table at NXT and if it’s a good idea and if it benefits the company then there’s no harm in stealing it from anybody.
โI think right now, it certainly is about developmental. But that is certainly not from the standpoint of forsaking real talent, and real ability thatโs out there. ” he said.
He also said that there’s no harm if a wrestler arrives at NXT and then stays on for the experience and leaves. He further emphasized on the fact he will do whatever he feels is beneficial from the company.
“Iโve always been one that, if itโs a good idea, Iโll steal it from anybody. If thereโs a really talented guy out there and we think he can help this company? Weโre crazy not to take him. Cause we can still develop people at the same time.” Michaels explained.
The Showstopper also said that he doesn’t want to make it like Triple H’s NXT nor like Vince’s, he also said that neither he is interested in making NXT his’ . He said that he is filling up some pretty big shoes and nothing can bring back the originality of something in its prime.
