AEW Collision is starting to establish itself as a premier wrestling show. Multiple superstars feature on the show on a regular basis. On the latest episode, former WWE US Champion Rusev, a.k.a. Miro wrestled in a match. However, his match is being talked about due to a strike he made on his opponent. The move resembled the famous “Ten Beats of Bodhran,” made famous by WWE Superstar Sheamus.

The former WWE Champion was quick to notice this and respond. Sheamus reacted to the video posted by AEW on their Twitter account. He retweeted and wrote, “DM me re: royalty check.” The caption was addressed to the AEW team regarding the usage of his move. This was obviously used by Sheamus to rib his friend Miro. The two superstars have a great relationship in real life.

Sheamus and Miro worked together in WWE for years. They were also part of a faction called “The League of Nations” along with Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio. Miro debuted in AEW in 2020. However, due to inconsistent bookings and injuries, Miro was out of action for more than a year. During his time on the show, he won the TNT Championship and has had feuds with numerous AEW Superstars.

On the other hand, Sheamus has been in WWE for over a decade. He has held almost all the championships in the company. The Celtic Warrior also won the Royal Rumble in 2012 and the MITB in 2015. In the past year, the former WWE Champion had a highly acclaimed feud with Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Fans even said that the feud was the highlight of Sheamus’ career.

The Celtic Warrior continues to be a dominant presence on SmackDown. On the go-home show for MITB, it was announced that Austin Theory will have to defend his US Championship on the next episode. He will face Sheamus for his championship. The feud has been going on for weeks and has failed to create an impact during Theory’s reign.

In the past week, Theory defended his title against Ridge Holland in London as WWE was gearing up for Money In The Bank. After Holland lost the match, Sheamus came down to the ring to save him from a post-match beatdown from Theory. It was later announced that the champion would have to defend the title against the former champion.
