Former WWE Champion Sheamus suggests a hilarious name for Drew McIntyre’s new team with Matt Riddle. The Celtic Warrior shared McIntyre’s post on X, where the latter was asking for new names for his new team. Sheamus humorously replied to it, suggesting, “Boring Brutes” as a funny alternative to “Brawling Brutes.”
It was a shoot because Drew McIntyre was associated with The Brawling Brutes from November 2022 to March 2023. Sheamus and McIntyre were together as a team until they challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania 39. Their team was called the ‘Banger Bros’ and stayed together for quite some time.
Drew McIntyre made his return at Money in the Bank 2023 to confront Gunther following the latter’s victory over Riddle. It seems like McIntyre’s feud with Gunther is finally over. There has been speculation that WWE is planning a major heel turn for the Scottish Warrior. It will be interesting to see how things shape up in the coming time.
Sheamus will battle Edge on next week’s SmackDown

Edge came to the ring and recalled how a biking accident with Sheamus led him to try and return to the ring. Moreover, the Irish superstar also narrated his story, remembering how he went to a WWE show in Dublin back in 2004. The Celtic Warrior said that the only person who didn’t dismiss him was Edge. The duo had a wholesome conversation about their experiences.
The Hall of Famer said that they can have some ‘nice peaty scotch’ after a respectful showdown at his 25th anniversary next week. It is interesting to note that despite being in the company for years , the two have never faced each other in a solo match. It will be interesting to watch the two veterans battle in an epic showdown.
