Sheamus is one of the most decorated superstars in WWE. His current association with The Brawling Brutes has seen his revival as a top star in the company. However, he feels that his team is underutilized and has yet to prove its talent. The Celtic Warrior criticized WWE’s booking of The Brawling Brutes while recently speaking with the “Metro.”
Ever since Triple H took over WWE’s creative control, fans and wrestlers have felt content with the bookings. However, the hardcore stable of Butch, Ridge Holland, and Sheamus has not received the attention they deserve. The Celtic Warrior finds it frustrating that his team doesn’t get any opportunity to show off their talents, unlike other teams that get exposure.
Speaking on the Metro, Sheamus stated that WWE needs to capitalize on their faction for those younger talents’ sake. The Irishman blamed WWE’s creative department for the weak bookings of The Brawling Brutes and demanded better storylines and feuds. Sheamus stated that the start/stop process for his team’s push doesn’t highlight the talent of his stablemates.
The Brawling Brutes is currently feuding with the NXT call-up Pretty Deadly on SmackDown. Last week on SmackDown, Sheamus and Ridge Holland battled for an opportunity to have a shot at the Undisputed Tag Team Titles. They made a dominant statement while eliminating four teams in the gauntlet match. However, they faced defeat at the hands of Pretty Deadly, who secured their win after pinning Sheamus.

Sheamus shows off his bruises after WWE’s live event
The Celtic Warrior Sheamus’ storyline is currently revolving around Austin Theory and the United States Championship. His matches include the ones held at SmackDown and some of them at WWE’s live events. At WWE’s house show in Charlestown, West Virginia, on Sunday, the two fought over the US title in a much more physical matchup.
The result of the match saw Theory pin Sheamus with his feet on the ropes. He took advantage of the referee’s unawareness, which therefore allowed him to win the match. The Celtic Warrior avenged his loss by applying a Brogue Kick to Austin after the match. Following the match, Sheamus took to Twitter and posted a bruised-up picture of his right eye.
In his shared post, he stated about the life of pro wrestlers and showcased the beatings they take on the road. He used the “#prowrestlerstake” hashtag to show the wounds he took on during the match.
