The WrestleMania weekend has just gained another attraction as WWE officially announced the return of the popular Slammy Awards. These awards are given to the superstars on the basis of fan votes, and the option that gets the most number of them will win the respective Slammy Award.
It will take place at WWE World, where a five-day event will take place. Superstars can meet and greet their fans during the WrestleMania carnival. It will be streamed live on multiple social media platforms on April 7th. Voting will be open soon for the WWE Universe in various categories.

The last time the Slammy Awards were held was four years ago, when R-Truth hosted the event. This time, currently injured New Day member Big E will host the show alongside Cathy Kelley, with many superstars expected to appear during the show.
The different categories include male, female, and NXT Superstars of the Year. Other categories were also teased, including the Best Return to WWE and Faction of the Year. Not only that, there were also categories based on the Best Social Star of the Year and the Best Match of the Year. It will be interesting to see which superstar wins the most Slammy Awards, thanks to the fans’ votes.
