The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe when he brought back Jey Uso at Payback. After he quit WWE on SmackDown a few weeks ago, everyone thought they weren’t getting Jey back, at least for months. However, Rhodes used his political reach to get the WWE draft “Main Event” Jey to Raw. Cody described Jey’s situation with The Bloodline as something he wasn’t able to view any further.

Hence, Rhodes dug deep and channeled his inner EVP to negotiate a deal with WWE’s upper management on Jey’s behalf. Moving forward, Jey could be an integral part of the red brand. However, this week on Raw, Adam Pearce dropped a bombshell while speaking to Jey. The WWE official told him that the blue brand would get trade compensation for him. Pearce also highlighted how that the move would pi** some people off on Raw.

The rumor mill has already picked up, trying to decipher the potential swap. One name that constantly pops up is none other than Cody Rhodes himself. This comes in compliance with WWE’s reported plan for WrestleMania 40 involving Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Fans couldn’t help but think of Cody’s hidden brilliance with Jey Uso‘s move to Raw.

Fan theories already in place suggest that The Prodigal Son might brought Jey to the red brand for the former to go to SmackDown. By doing so, he’ll eventually encounter Roman Reigns and begin his quest to finish the story. WWE has announced that Cody Rhodes will be live on Raw next week. After a rare two-week absence, Dusty’s baby boy will potentially have answers about his future.
