As reported earlier, Zelina Vega is all set to return to SmackDown’s season premiere, but now there’s another big update coming via FightFul Select that Vega is returning to be a part of a popular NXT faction that is also slated for its debut on SmackDown tonight.
As stated earlier by PWInsider popular NXT faction Legado Del Fantasma is all set to make their main roster debut tonight on SmackDown. But, now according to the latest update provided by Fightful, it is almost confirmed that Zelina Vega will return to replace Elektra Lopez as the part of the popular faction.

The original faction featured the likes of Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Elektra Lopez. But now Elektra will be replaced by Zelina on SmackDown. Initially, Zelina had begun her journey as a manager for Andrade Cien Almas (Now, known as Andrade El Idolo) but never seemed to take off as an in-ring competitor.
She was released in 2020 when she raised a voice against WWE’s decision to acquire third-party accounts of superstars. She returned to the company in 2021 and now was introduced as an independent in-ring competitor and started right off the bat by participating in the Women’s Money in The Bank Ladder Match.
She then went to participate in various singles matches before winning the Queen Crown in November. She would then team up with Carmella and even go on to win Raw tag team titles with her marking her first title win in the company.
With her experience in the managerial roles, she seems to be a great fit for the faction who would be looking to make an impact with their debut on the main roster.
Fans were ecstatic upon hearing the news as they felt that Zelina could actually lead the faction to a great path with her experience. On the other hand fans also felt bad for Elektra but said that the reason for her not arriving at the main roster could be that Triple H still wants her to wrestle at the developmental territory.
It would be exciting to see how the popular faction carries itself in the main roster with the changes and what plans exactly The Game has booked for them on the already stacked SmackDowm.
