WrestleMania Sunday witnessed a surprise return of Shane McMahon, who unfortunately got injured during his against The Miz, but Snoop Dogg kept the show going with an amazing spot.

Apart from stunning matches and moments, WrestleMania 39 featured some surprise returns as well. On Night 1 of the Show of Shows, the host of WrestleMania, The Miz, was forced into an open challenge by the world-renowned rapper, Snoop Dogg. This challenge resulted in Pat McAfee’s surprise return to the ring and a quick victory over The Miz. Moreover, Night 2 of Mania witnessed another staggering return of Shane McMahon.
On WrestleMania Sunday, the co-hosts of WrestleMania, The Miz, and Snoop Dogg, interacted with fans prior to the main event, similar to Night 1. During the segment, “The Doggfather of WrestleMania” introduced Miz to his second opponent on the same show. Eventually, Shane McMahon’s music hit, as he made his WWE return after over a year.
Shane ‘O’ Mac made his return inside the squared circle as well, competing against The Miz. However, Shane suffered an unfortunate botch in the midst of his match, as he injured himself. It was later revealed that Shane tore his quad in the process of performing a spot. Following the botch, Shane ‘O’ Mac had to be escorted out of the ring, and the match faced a big hurdle.
Nonetheless, Snoop Dogg walked in to save the day, as he seemingly went off-script and charged a right hand at The Miz. The crowd was astounded as Dogg continued the match. Snoop Dogg also stunned the crowd by performing “People’s Elbow,” paying homage to The Rock.
The Doggfather’s attempt at preventing a major botch turned out to be a success, considering the LA crowd’s reaction. Following an amazing spot, Snoop Dogg scored a pin-fall victory over Miz and received an honorary WWE title as well.

Snoop Dogg filled in for Shane McMahon’s botch against The Miz
Following his entertaining in-ring performance on WrestleMania Sunday, Snoop Dogg answered the most anticipated questions in an exclusive interview. He was asked about his feeling after a victory over The Miz on the Grandest stage. The Doggfather revealed that he didn’t even know that he was in the match.
He further described that he had to fill in following an unfortunate injury suffered by Shane McMahon. As he believes, the show must go on. All in all, it surprisingly turned out to be a memorable WrestleMania moment featuring a big celebrity.
