The Bloodline has been wreaking havoc on the entire WWE roster for the last two years. Cody Rhodes was no different for the faction. The former unsuccessfully faced Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. Despite his crushing defeat at Mania, it appears that Rhodes has some unfinished business with the heel stable as he returned to this week’s SmackDown to fight off Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
On the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes made an unexpected appearance to the blue brand. The superstar came out to the rescue of LA Knight, who was being pulverized by the duo of Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Following the 38-year-old’s shocking appearance, Sikoa has taken to his social media to send a message to The American Nightmare.
The 30-year-old recently took to X and wrote a two-word message for Cody Rhodes. He shared an image of Rhodes delivering a promo with Sikoa standing in the ring from one of their earlier segments. Furthermore, Sikoa wrote, “You again..,” expressing his contempt at Rhodes getting himself in The Bloodline’s business.
This was the second time The American Nightmare embroiled himself in The Bloodline’s matters in the last two months. Ahead of Fastlane PLE, he and Jey Uso came out to the rescue of LA Knight, and John Cena. The latter has bid adieu to WWE as of yet, but Knight’s rivalry with the heel faction continues to fester every new week.
WWE superstars who could potentially join forces with LA Knight to take on Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso
LA Knight has been at loggerheads with The Bloodline over the past few months. He clashed with Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the most recent premium live event in Saudi Arabia. However, the former was unable to win the championship courtesy of The Bloodline’s interference. As a result, The Megastar has vowed to put an end to the notorious group, including Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso.
The self-proclaimed Megastar took on Jimmy Uso on the recent episode of SmackDown in an impressively winning effort. Nonetheless, soon after the match, he found himself at the receiving end of Uso and Sikoa’s vicious beatdown. Things took a U-turn when Cody Rhodes rushed to the ring to rescue the 41-year-old. But the Raw superstar won’t be at Knight’s side every week.
And it is unlikely that Knight can conquer The Bloodline all alone. The numbers game is bound to put the former at a disadvantage. Thus, the 41-year-old would likely need a partner to take on the heel faction. Two superstars who could potentially team up with LA Knight could either be AJ Styles or Sheamus. Both superstars have a long history with the heel stable.
Solo and Jimmy are the reason the Phenomenal One is on the sidelines from weekly programming after the duo launched a ruthless attack on him in September. Per the latest reports, both the SmackDown superstars will soon return to the blue brand. Thus, it will be interesting to see how Knight’s feud with Solo and Jimmy shapes up.
