Sonya Deville continues to be a trailblazer in the wrestling industry. Deville is the first openly gay female superstar in WWE. In an interview, the 29-year-old discussed possibly welcoming a baby with her fiancee, Toni Cassano. The two females have been dating each other for a long time.
Sonya Deville is currently part of a tag team division on WWE programming along with Chelsea Green. The two were drafted to Monday Night Raw during the WWE Draft 2023. Since then, they have been regularly featured on the show. They wrestle in tag team matches as well as in singles competitions. WWE has not been booking them in any proper storylines.
While talking on Heal Squad x Maria Menounos, Deville was accompanied by her partner, Toni Cassano. They discussed the possibility of welcoming a baby together. The 29-year-old revealed that it is something they have been contemplating. Speaking about it, she said, “It’s still TBD”.
On the other hand, Toni Cassano has two children from her previous relationship. Her daughters are 7 and 11 years old respectively. Sonya Deville also said that her relationship with the daughters has been excellent. Therefore, they are not in any rush to decide on a new baby.
Adopting a baby would be a huge step for the couple. A gay couple adopting a child has always been a matter of great discussion. With Deville being a part of WWE, the move will set standards for the LGBTQ Community as well.

Sonya Deville talks about her character losing matches frequently
During the interview, Sonya Deville also talked about the character that she plays on WWE television. She has been losing quite frequently on the main roster lately. Therefore, fans have been wondering if Deville will ever win a Championship in WWE. However, the 29-year-old has a completely different approach to the whole thing.
Sonya Deville had great success playing an authority figure in the pandemic era and for months after that. However, she was demoted to superstar status after Adam Pearce found her abusing her power as a part of the authority. Ever since, Deville has been moving around the roster wrestling in random matches on the card on Raw and SmackDown.
The WWE superstar revealed that she does not feel bad for losing every week. She said that the only thing that matters to her is that she stays relevant and booked regularly. The 29-year-old believes that she will eventually win a championship, but she does not want to pressurize anyone for it.
