Since the day Vince McMahon associated himself with the current WWE scenario, multiple things started losing their track. WWE was held hostage, and Vince blackmailed the authorities to return his powers in the company. After many negotiations, as things seemed to get back to a reasonable situation, Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation.
Stephanie had been managing the company ever since her father stepped down from the company’s affairs. Despite Tony Khan sharing the place, much of the control lay in her hands due to the presence of her husband, Triple H, in the company’s creative. Many fans and WWE stars, including the WWE HOF’er Kurt Angle, showed their dissatisfaction with the resignation.
Speaking on the ‘Kurt Angle Show,’ the Olympic gold medalist revealed his reaction to Stephanie’s resignation. “I’m surprised. I didn’t expect Stephanie to resign,” he said. In addition to it, he did not fail to shower Stephanie with bags full of praise. He also partially confirms that her resignation had a lot to do with Vince’s induction into the company.
While Vince was looking for a place in the topmost spot, Stephanie might be vacating it for him. “She is a classy woman. She was a great employer,” added Kurt Angle. He also gets reminded of Vince by her way of working. Being almost correct in the same way, Vince must have let her daughter take charge of the company in his absence.

Stephanie McMahon undergoes surgery soon after her resignation
While innumerable reasons are popping out for Stephanie McMahon’s resignation, one seemed to be the most valid. Stephanie took to Twitter to share snapshots from the hospital and inform the fans about her surgery. The two images that are floating around Twitter reveal Stephanie’s leg wrapped in a bandage.
The extent of the ankle injury is still unknown, but it is sure to have put her into a resting phase. Steph also thanked all the people who stood by her during this time. She especially thanked the entire medical facility for fixing her ankle. Her tweet can be read below:
There is no fixed time for Stephanie’s disappearance from the current WWE scenario. With Royal Rumble hardly 2 weeks away, a lot of changes are expected in the company. Vince has secured a seat on the WWE Board of Directors and is willing to go to any length to reach the summit of WWE.
