Stephanie McMahon is no longer with WWE (via- WrestleTalk)
Fans are well aware of former WWE lead writer Vince Russo. His contributions to Vince McMahon’s company during the Attitude Era can’t be overlooked. It was under his sublime leadership that WWE experienced a massive wrestling boom. Despite his unequivocal efforts, there were a few people who didn’t like him as a colleague. One such figure was Stephanie McMahon.
Back in 1999, Russo left WWE after filing numerous complaints about his never-ending workload. However, he was called back for another stint with the company in 2002. Although that only lasted for a couple of weeks, there was a massive driving force behind it. In one of his interviews , Russo recalled how Stephanie was disgruntled when Vince McMahon offered him a deal without her knowledge.
It was a time when WWE was done keeping Stephanie McMahon in the dark. Somewhere deep inside, Vince Russo knew that things wouldn’t probably work out. He even had phone calls with Steph on which she treated Russo as if he were her “redheaded stepchild”, as claimed by Russo.
Apparently, it was Stephanie McMahon who blocked Russo’s second return to WWE. It will remain one of the biggest ‘what ifs’ in wrestling history. Vince Russo is currently involved in various podcasts where he shares interesting things about pro wrestling.
Why Stephanie McMahon resigned from WWE?

Stephanie McMahon served as the WWE Chairwoman for quite some time last year. After Vince McMahon stepped down as CEO & Chairman of the company, her daughter handled the multi-million dollar empire. She and Triple H led the wagon quite effectively, and everyone was happy. The backstage morale suddenly took an upswing following assumption of supreme powers.
However, times took an unprecedented turn once again. Once the hush money investigations over Vince got over, he started figuring out ways to motor his way back into the top hierarchy. Eventually, that happened, and fans were left numb. McMahon regained his powers once again, forcing Stephanie to leave her position.
She resigned from WWE after being employed for decades. Everyone panicked if her resignation would drive Triple H out of the window too, but thankfully it didn’t happen. The King of Kings retained his position as Chief Content Officer in the promotion. At present, both Triple H & Vince McMahon oversee the creative department collectively.
