The days in the ring for WWE legend Stone Cold Steve Austin are long behind him now. Austin retired in 2003 due to a life-threatening neck injury. He only wrestled once after that, in 2022 at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens. Apart from wrestling, Austin also likes to take part in off-road racing competitions.

Recently, the Rattle Snake took to Instagram to announce that he won a gold rush race put on by the Valley Off Road Racing Association and the Legacy Racing Association. This was a 350-mile race from Virginia City to Tonopah. Austin talked about the race and his KRX 100 in the caption of his post. He also thanked his crew members for helping him finish first in the race.

It was a helluva race from start to finish. Thanks to Rico, Brian, and everyone in my crew for the fast pits. Thanks to my Co-driver Shane Kisman for calling a helluva race. We finally put everything together and ran a clean race. I felt confident going into this race for some reason. It all worked out. Hell Yeah!

Therefore, it seems as though the Rattle Snake has found his passion away from the squared ring. Perhaps one of the biggest stars from the most popular era of WWE, Austin has made his peace with staying away due to his health condition. The most memorable moments of Austin’s career came against his arch-rival, The Rock, and Mr. McMahon.

Eric Bischoff compares LA Knight’s rise to the top to that of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s

Stone Cold Steve Austin was arguably one of the biggest stars in WWE during the Attitude Era. His rise to the top following King of the Ring 1996 is studied by wrestlers to this day, as he was crowned the top face of the company for several years after that. WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff recently revealed on “83 Weeks” that he sees a similar spark in LA Knight.

Steve Austin found the elements of what became 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin that were really elements of who he really was. It was born almost organically. I like to believe that's what's happening with LA Knight. It's not following anybody's pattern; it's just a natural progression of a very talented guy that's finally found his footing.

In the past few months, LA Knight has risen above the ranks and will face Roman Reigns for the top prize in the company. The two stars will clash at Crown Jewel, which takes place next week. Knight is also endorsed by legends like John Cena, which is a big deal.
