The 18-year old inner-self of LeBron James was just a fan and nothing more. He had a flip phone within his grasps and wherein he snapped photos of various WWE Superstars, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. If we set around the showtime, the Texas Rattlesnake was still raising hell, being in character.

A lot has changed ever since. Today, both men have grown as untanned greats of their respective sports. Recently, The Hell-raiser went sneaker-shopping with Complex, where he talked about various topics including James’ front-seat viewing experience of WWE Raw. The WWE Attitude Era cornerstone jotted down the partly worn-out memories vividly.

“I’ve forgotten so many things. But I remember that vividly. I was in the ring, and he had that flip phone just like you said; he was taking pictures. He was basketball, I mean, everything was about LeBron, and he’s about to really get going and take over the sport. And to see him out there to be at a WWE event and be a fan of Stone Cold was very flattering……………” (H/T – WrestleZone)

Austin spoke highly about the Basketball legend. He called latter’s appearance on a WWE show being special and that too with a “Austin 3:16″ T-shirt was “flattering”. Would be fair enough to say that both of these icons brought some revolutionary changes in their respective domains. An Austin-LeBron reunion would be a sight to behold for fans all-around.
