Stone Cold Steve Austin has made a career out of pulling the craziest segments on WWE which has enthralled the WWE Universe. There are several segments wherein Stone Cold Steve Austin performs something that is completely unseen in the entire wrestling fraternity. These moments have been etched in the minds of the viewers as many of the members of the WWE Universe have grown up relishing these moments. One such moment that has been etched in the minds of the WWE universe is when Steve Austin spilled an outrageous amount of beer on The Rock through a beer truck. This segment was a part of the storyline which was being built for Wrestlemania XV.
What Backstage secret did Steve Austin spill?
Stone Cold Steve Austin also known as the Texas Rattlesnake recently appeared for an Interview on ‘The Brewbound Podcast’ where he recalled several of his segments in WWE and he was also asked about the beer truck segment. Stone Cold made the revelation that only a few quantities of the beer sprayed was in fact beer and the rest was water. This has become one of the most memorable segments in the WWE. In the interview this is what Steve Austin had to say about that segment:
“It was a pretty wild time,” Steve Austin admitted. “And a lot of times, you get creative the day of. So I just remember arriving at the building, and then Vince or somebody said, ‘Hey, man, we’re gonna have you drive a beer truck into the arena, and you’re gonna get to hose down The Rock,’ and out of that beer truck, I bumped a rating with it. But you know, the first 30 gallons that came out was actual beer, and then it turned into water.”

Stone Cold Steve Austin and his promos and segments were one of the most sought after things that everybody looked forward to while watching WWE. He believes that because of these crazy shenanigans more and more people were compelled to watch WWE. This is what he said in a recent interview: “We were able to do so many fun things that it’s those moments that people will never forget”
“As I stood on top of that beer truck, delivering the go-home promo for Rock for Wrestlemania 15, that was a hell of a night at the office, and people just sh*t their pants because you just don’t see that every day. And that’s the kind of stuff that we were doing on damn near every Monday night. That’s why the ratings were so high, and that’s why — well, I gotta get a lot of credit to the roster, but we had a loaded roster with a lot of great creative, and we were just on a tear.”
