The WWE is always packed with their schedules to keep the fans glued to the company. Before one can make out the possibility of WWE’s next move, they have something even better planned for it. With the audience all hyped up for Elimination Chamber as well as WrestleMania, WWE dropped a massive update on SummerSlam.

The Detroit News first reported the venue of the August 5th Premium Live Event. SummerSlam is all set to take place at Ford Field in Detroit. The venue last hosted a WWE event in 2007 in the form of WrestleMania. Michigan became the host of SummerSlam back in 1993, and this would be the second time for the city to host The Biggest Party of the Summer.

The WWE creative has a great skill set in crating excellent storylines. However, there are multiple loose threads that might prove to be a big hurdle in the company’s work. There has been no clear update on WWE’s selling rumors, and thus, the company might land itself in some serious trouble.

Recently, WWE was reportedly rumored to be sold soon after Vince McMahon returned to the company. Amidst the panicked situation, multiple sources denied the selling rumors. Stephanie McMahon’s resignation was also interpreted as a move to give Vince control of the company from within management.

According to other reports, the selling will not take place until at least WrestleMania. This is also indicative of the possibility that the deal will be carried out post-WrestleMania. If this happens, then SummerSlam will have to bear the consequences. Triple H has received the WWE Universe’s backing with his excellent direction, and the fans don’t want anything to spoil The Biggest Party of the Summer.
