Takeoff, Who Was Recently Shot Dead, Left Major WWE Dreams Incomplete as per Quavo

In a tragic incident, Rapper Takeoff was brutally shot on November 1 in Texas at The Billiards and Bowling Alley. The passing away of the young rapper from Atlanta sent shockwaves to the industry as he was described as one of the most humble artists to exist in the hip-hop scene.

The Migos Rapper’s Memorial Ceremony took place in his hometown on November 11 th and various artists poured their tributes on social media to pay homage to the late artist. Joining the queue, Takeoff’s Uncle and Fellow Migos Rapper Quavo took to Instagram to give an emotional tribute to his Nephew.

While Quavo talked about how it is difficult for him to put his pain into words, he revealed an Unfulfilled WWE dream that Takeoff had. Quavo in his post said that he and Takeoff’s first dream was to become Tag Team Champions in WWE. He revealed that the late rapper was a huge fan of the promotion and even used to imitate the wrestlers he loved.

Remember our first dream was to be tag team partners in WWE. We fell in love with WWF wrestling…man we had every action figure. Thought we was gonna be pro wrestlers cuz the way he imitated all the wrestlers so good and if you know Take, his imitation are to the T..he could imitate anybody just as Danny and P.,” Quavo wrote. Takeoff Eventually Realised His Dream as Migos Appeared in WWE at Day 1

Migos (including Quavo, Takeoff and Offset) were invited at the Day 1 premium live event by the company, where they accompanied RK-BRO to the ring for their match against The Street Profits. Not only this, but the trio remained at the ringside for the whole match as they watched the Raw Tag Team Champions defending their title.

After the match The trio joined both Matt Riddle and Randy Orton in the ring and celebrated their victory. In a recent report published on The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claimed that if WWE had not cancelled their Day 1 premium live event, Migos had definitely been brought back for the event.

It is worth noting that The Hip Hop group’s single “Straightenin” was the official theme song for the Day 1 PLE in 2022, and Takeoff was part of the live performance which took place at the event where the trio performed the track live. The tragic news has also affected the wrestling community as various fans remembered the 28 year old first WWE appearance on his funeral day. While Legends like Ric Flair also paid his respects to the late artist.
