Problems for the son of WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase, Ted DiBiase Jr., do not seem to end anytime soon. After receiving charges for multiple frauds and embezzlement, authorities arrested DiBiase Jr. in April 2023. However, the latest reports indicate that the 40-year-old might not come out until next year.

PWInsider reported that DiBiase Jr.’s next trial was on 7/16/24, with a pre-trial conference set for 6/21/24. The judge ruled that the jury instructions, witness list, and exhibit list are all to be due by 7/12/24. The former WWE tag team champion was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Ted DiBiase Jr. faces serious charges, including six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and four counts of money laundering. If convicted, he could face up to 45 years in jail and a substantial fine. The fate of the case will be decided in July 2024, leaving the family in a state of uncertainty, hoping and praying for Ted’s well-being.

Following Ted’s arrest in April, it emerged that his father, Ted DiBiase Sr., and brother, Brett DiBiase, were also part of the money embezzlement scheme. However, the judge found them not guilty of the crimes, sparing the WWE Hall of Famer from facing charges himself.

WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase had a more-than-decent career in WWE during the 1970s and 1980s. However, his son did not. Additionally, Jr. is now under investigation for multiple frauds and money embezzlement. Therefore, it is obvious that it is a testing time for the DiBiase family as a whole.

Following his son’s arrest earlier this year, Ted DiBiase wrote on X, (then Twitter), “Our family is currently navigating a difficult season, and while we cannot speak to these events publicly, we appreciate your prayers during this time.” He added, “Please know that I truly appreciate the love and support from the fans!”

The legend also thanked his fans, saying that they have been a part of his family for over 40 years. He said he could never thank them enough for their love and support. Moreover, more updates on the matter will surface if there are any developments in the story.
