NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch celebrated her win over Tiffany Stratton this week on Monday Night Raw. She took over the microphone to thank the WWE Universe. Moreover, she announced an open challenge for the title which Natalya accepted. However, according to recent reports, that was not the initial plan.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Becky Lynch was all set to face Tegan Nox for the NXT Women’s Championship on RAW. However, due to some internal changes, Nox was in the main event. Due to last-minute changes, Becky faced WWE veteran Natalya on RAW as she defended her newly won NXT Women’s Championship.

The reason behind Tegan Nox’s pullout from her match against Lynch this week on the show remains unclear. Furthermore, Natalya received another opportunity for a championship despite her consistent involvement in the title picture for a long time. Last-minute changes have been made to this week’s edition of Raw.

A fan took to X to upload a clip of Becky Lynch suffering a huge botch on the microphone and then immediately admitting that she messed up. Fans heard Becky saying, “I messed that up.” This was before Natalya made her way to the ring and challenged Becky for the NXT Women’s Championship.

Becky Lynch came out victorious in a grueling match against Natalya. She is all set to make regular appearances on NXT during her title reign.
