WWE fulfilled many Indian fans’ dreams by organizing Superstar Spectacle in Hyderabad. For the first time in six years, WWE held a show in the country. John Cena stood out as the major selling point of the show and pleased all Indians with his sheer appearance. On the other hand, The Great Khali also made sure that people stayed entertained, as he also taught Hindi to Cena whilst filming the process.

Khali posted a video on Instagram filmed by Cena at the Superstar Spectacle backstage. Khali told Cena, “I wanna teach you Hindi” and started by saying a popular phrase in Punjabi dialect. The India star said each line, and Cena repeated the lines after him, which was quite accurate. One of the sentences was, “Chak de phatte, nap de killi. Shaam ko Bombay, Subha ko dilli!” means to pull up one’s socks to go far in their journey.

The caption of the aforementioned post stated, “I tried to Teach Hindi to John Cena??.” The post had over 676k likes and many comments. Before the recital part, John stated that he was holding Khali’s phone and hilariously stated, “He (Khali) has got the long arms, don’t know how I got this one“. The Champ then mentioned that Khali was trying to teach him Hindi all day, but the actual part of teaching was documented on social media.

The interaction happened backstage before the show. Khali later made an appearance on Superstar Spectacle and addressed the crowd in G.M.C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium. On the other hand, the Cenation Leader headlined the show by teaming up with Seth Rollins for a tag team match against two-thirds of Imperium.

John Cena shows his gratitude towards WWE Universe in India

Superstar Spectacle is in the history books and came out as a successful event. G.M.C. Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad got lucky to have hosted the live show and witnessed fans’ love for WWE. The major attraction of the show was John Cena, who showed up to wrestle and gave the fans what they wanted for decades.

Just a few hours after the live event, John poured his heart out on X and expressed his gratitude to the Indian fans. The post simply stated, “Thank you, WWE India!” and tagged the official handle of WWE India. The post came as a part of a reply to one of Cena’s fan pages that posted John’s address to the Hyderabad crowd.

The match John Cena wrestled saw him team up with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. His opponents were Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium. The face team eventually secured their victory over the heel team and had the crowd celebrate their victory with an arena filled with cheers and pops.
