Former WWE Superstar The Rock shocks everyone by revealing the new plans for Black Adam 2

Black Adam, The Rock’s most recent film, was a great success for him. He worked on this film for over 15 years and was quite attached to this character. He put forth a lot of effort into the project, which was released in theaters back in October and barely managed to make around $389 million after two months.
For context, Black Adam created a lot of hype in the market way before it was officially released and was even predicted to earn billions of dollars, making it a tremendous hit. However, on the contrary, the film was a colossal flop, earning not even half of what was expected. Following the setback, rumors surrounding the possible sequel started making rounds on the internet, eliciting a plethora of reactions online.
Now, The Rock has confirmed long-held speculations about the film, stating on all of his social media platforms that there would be no sequel. As per ‘The Great One’ himself, the film went well, and he was pleased with the positive feedback he received from fans and viewers, who were quite impressed with the tale and visual effects. Taking to his official Twitter handle, The Rock tweeted a lengthy heartfelt statement about the future of his character, revealing that the return of Black Adam is a long way off.
He noted, “James Gunn and I connected, and Black Adam will not be in their first chapter of storytelling,……..However, DC and Seven Bucks have agreed to continue exploring the most valuable ways Black Adam can be utilized in future DC multiverse chapters.”

The Rock’s Black Adam may be going to be in other DC movie
The film was shelved mostly due to Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, as he refused to work with the corporation anymore. Furthermore, Henry was unfortunetly unable to conclude his agreements with the corporation. As a result, there will be no Black Adam 2 and no preparations are currently in place. The Rock has indicated that the future for the character is not finalized, since there are still certain things that can happen.
However, more interestingly, it is believed that the character might get featured in any other DC film. But the fact that The Rock has previously declined to work on Shazam is perplexing, given that there are no other films in which Black Adam would suit. With that being said, it seems like fans might have to wait a bit longer for their favorite character, Black Adam, to return to the big screen.
