WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to grace the ring. Not only wrestling fans, but even the wrestlers themselves admire and respect him for his contributions to WWE. One of those superstars is none other than another legend, Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson.

The Great One took to X and broke his current heel character to announce the Nature Boy. He shared a video compilation of the beautiful relationship he shared with Flair. The Rock expressed his gratitude towards the 74-year-old legend and announced that his biopic is in the works.

There is absolutely no doubt that Flair deserves a biopic for his legendary career in WWE and WCW. He was last seen at AEW, where he debuted to support his friend and longtime rival, Sting. The Nature Boy will be in Sting’s corner in his retirement, where he will defend his tag titles on March 3 against the Young Bucks at AEW Evolution.

As a wild kid, who grew up in the wild world of professional wrestling, I idolized, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. He was one of my heroes. And once I broke into the wrestling business and began to spill my sweat and blood in arenas across America - my reverence for Ric turned to great respect. This project is personal for me and we at Sevenbucksprod & Kevin Mischer films can’t wait to tell his unbelievable story. As always, 'Thank you for the house, Ric'

The Brahma Bull also shared that he had known Flair since he was 8 years old, and his father, Rocky Johnson, wrestled together in NWA. The biopic will be made under The Rock’s own Seven Bucks Production, which will focus on Flair’s entire journey of ups and downs.

The 51-year-old will also play a major part in the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. On an episode of SmackDown a few weeks ago, he turned on the fans and promised to do everything in his power to stop Cody. It will be interesting to see what transpires at WrestleMania
