It appears like Dwayne Johnson is riled up after Cody Rhodes challenged him for a singles match this past Saturday at the Elimination Chamber. As a result, the Hollywood actor has seemingly confirmed his upcoming WWE schedule on Instagram for the month of March. As previously announced, The Rock will be there on SmackDown this Friday in Glendale, which has already sold out.

Flaunting an uptick in ticket sales, The Great One posted Dallas on March 8 and Memphis the following week as his next destinations. And if one could tell, Johnson, in a way, has confirmed that he’ll be there on the said shows. That will mark The Rock’s three consecutive appearances on the blue brand. Evidently, the Black Adam star is going all out for his renewed WWE run.

This Friday, The Brahma Bull, alongside Roman Reigns, is expected to address Cody Rhodes’ challenge for a one-on-one match. But before that, it would be interesting to see how Rhodes follows up on the man who smacked him in the face at WrestleMania XL presser in Las Vegas. Tonight on Raw, things will gain more clarity.

Even after Cody’s warning shot to Rock, it seems like WWE may end up carding a tag team match in Philadelphia. That will include Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins taking on The Rock and Roman Reigns. This could be mere speculation until it gets official.

But the recently released teaser trailer for WrestleMania suggests that the four men are indeed primed to vie at The Showcase of the Immortals. Fans are eagerly awaiting the next time Cody Rhodes comes face-to-face with The Rock.

Dwayne Johnson’s Elimination Chamber absence led to a monotonous Grayson Waller Effect?

At first glance, there was hope that The Rock would end up making a surprise appearance at the Elimination Chamber. Few months back, the tourism officials in Australia even lodged a bid to lure him to the PLE.

However, it didn’t happen. That left Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins carrying the entire Grayson Waller Effect segment on their own. Rhodes told Rock that he would fight him anywhere and anytime. Meanwhile, Seth revealed that he’s days away from getting in-ring clearance.

At the end, the babyfaces ganged up on Austin Theory to close it out. The fans were left disappointed with what they got out of this overly hyped segment. Moreover, there was no mention of Roman Reigns’ advice to Grayson Waller that he received on SmackDown before the Elimination Chamber.
