The Undertaker is perhaps the most respected WWE superstar of all time. The Deadman with his legacy, persona and aura has transcended to become one of the stalwarts not just in professional wrestling but all sports entertainment around the globe.
That’s why when The Undertaker retired from WWE in 2020, not only WWE fans around the world but even sports personalities from other fraternities wished him a great life ahead and thanked him for all the wonderful memories that he had given in his span of more than 30 years.
The Undertaker reveals about getting emotional from Tyson Fury’s Tribute video
Even during his Hall of Fame speech, fans witnessed a rare moment when they saw The Undertaker getting emotional as he got inducted into the Hall of Fame after entertaining the audiences for such a long time.
But, this wasn’t the first that the love had stirred up emotions in the heart of The Deadman. After his announcement of retirement in 2020, athletes and celebrities from around the world poured in their tributes for The Phenom and it also included wishes from boxing Marvel Tyson Fury and Basketball legend LeBron James.
Tyson Fury who already has had a stint in WWE, and is an avid follower of the biggest professional wrestling company in the world, sent out a special message to Taker and thanked him for his contribution to the field of sports entertainment.
In a special video message for Taker, Fury had also sported an outfit inspired from the iconic outfit of The Deadman. When the video reached the Undertaker he retweeted and said- “Massive respect…thanks Champ. Keep doing what you’re doing and stay healthy. “
“Watched your inspiring journey for a long time and can’t wait to see you fight in person in the future! ??”. Reacting to the tributes from the sports fraternity around the world Taker had said that he feels great and humbled to have any kind of influence on the top athletes who are bringing out their A-game in their respective fields.
Speaking about Fury’s video taker said- ” It’s really humbling, and it’s really cool to see. I was really moved by Tyson Fury sending out that tweet the other day. Really cool. Obviously, I’m a huge boxing fan, too.”
It’s a fact that the legacy of The Undertaker is undeniable and he is surely going to go down as one of the greatest ever to step foot inside a squared circle.
