WWE legend The Undertaker competed in many stipulated matches in his 30-year-long career. Without a doubt, two of the scariest stipulation-type matches were the ‘Buried Alive Match’ and ‘Casket Match’. Most notably, The Deadman was involved in almost every match of both stipulations.

The Undertaker talked about which of his stipulated matches was more scary during a recent Q&A session of his Six Feet Under podcast. He revealed that the idea of being buried alive is scarier than being in a casket.

Taker further added that he would take a nap backstage in one of the caskets, so he wasn’t really scared. He said that would set his mind right, and he would be ready to go out there and entertain the fans. Although he didn’t reveal what exactly goes on behind the Buried Alive matches, he certainly said a lot goes on there.

Back in the early days, I was burning the midnight oil, too. I'd crawl in a casket and take a nap for an hour or two during the day. Most people are kind of creeped out by them, so no one would ever mess with them. One of the caskets backstage, I would just crawl in there, take a little nap, get my mind right, and I'd be ready to go, Yeah, but buried alive, a lot is going on there.

The Phenom was in a total of five Buried Alive matches and interestingly won only two of them, with one of the most notable matches being his loss against Vince McMahon. He was a part of a total of 17 Casket matches and won 12 of them. It will always be an iconic stipulation match in the history of WWE, synonymous with The Phenom.

In the teaser, a picture of a casket in a purple light was posted on the X handle of WWEgames. The fans have already started speculating that it would be either a Casket Match or The Undertaker showcase mode. They recently also dropped a hint on who could be the cover star for the game, with Cody Rhodes later being revealed as the chosen one.

Although Taker retired after his match at WrestleMania 36, rumors suggest he is slated to be in town for the 2024 Royal Rumble. He is a one-time winner, as he won the 2007 Royal Rumble from the 30th position. It will be interesting to see whether The Deadman shows up at the PLE or not.
