The Undertaker had one wish upon his Hall of Fame induction

The Undertaker will be remembered as probably the greatest character in the history of entire professional wrestling. His legacy is incomparable and will be cherished forever the generations to come. The career which had spanned for over 30 years, The Undertaker had fought some of the best in business including Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar and many more. He carried an incredible streak of staying undefeated at Wrestlemania for 21 straight matches against various opponents over the years that got tarnished by the hands of Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014.

Taker competed as an active in-ring performer until 2020 hanging out in the ring with some of the newer guys. His last ever WWE match was against AJ Styles where he defeated him in a fantastic Boneyard match at Wrestlemania 36. Since then, Taker decided to stay away from the ring and WWE finally announced his farewell for the Survivor Series in 2020 which also marked the 30 years till date The Undertaker debuted in WWE.

The Deadman received the most anticipated Hall of Fame Induction this year where he headlined the class alongside fellow inductees like The Steiner Brothers, Queen Sharmell, Vader and Shad Gaspard as the Warrior award recipient. As to what should was the most legendary Hall of Fame induction, the inductee was also required to be someone really special and it really was as the creator of The Undertaker’s character Vince McMahon himself inducted The Deadman into the Hall of Fame.

This year’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held at the sold-out American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. During the ceremony, the real man behind The Undertaker’s character came out as Mark Callaway himself addressed the whole WWE Universe and had a blast out there with them. He even got emotional by the warm reception of his fans and family and Taker turned teary-eyes. Callaway unveiled many behind the scenes stories of his entire career which took him where he’s standing at and the arena was echoing with “THANK YOU TAKER”, “YOU DESERVE IT” chants throughout.

In a recent interview with Bleacher report, the Deadman revealed that he wanted Vince McMahon as the one who should induct him into the Hall of Fame, “I thought it was a great button that I can put on that and for that very reason, that was a little bit for Vince, too.”

The Undertaker is announced for an upcoming show named as “UNDERTAKER 1 deadMAN SHOW” on the Summerslam weekend in Nashville, Tennessee.
