The Undertaker reveals how prankster Vince McMahon never lost his wit, even amidst battling allegations of supplying illegal anabolic steroids to wrestlers

The Phenom became the household name that he is today due to his extraordinary stint in WWE, which stretches over three decades. Moreover, the 58-year-old shares a good bond with WWE Executive Chairman, Vince McMahon. The former recently recalled an uproarious prank that McMahon pulled on him.
Appearing on the Six Feet Under podcast via Thirsty For News, The Undertaker looked back when Vince McMahon lost a $100 bet and paid the former in pennies. The former WWE CEO was put on trial for allegedly supplying anabolic steroids to his wrestlers. The Deadman said that the two men bet on their favorite football teams. He remarked that McMahon was a Washington Commanders fan, while Taker was an ardent Dallas Cowboy supporter.
Vince McMahon lost the bet. Soon after, the 78-year-old made someone carry a jar full of pennies to The Undertaker on TV to settle the bet money. The Deadman was astounded by McMahon’s whimsical prank in spite of dealing with a slew of allegations. He revealed that the same day, the WWE Executive Chairman was appearing in court.
We made a bet, with all this going on, the trial and everything. You know how he paid me? In freakin’ pennies. The Undertaker further added that he was traveling for 35 days in a row when McMahon paid him $100 in loose change on television. The wrestling legend stated that he was clueless about what to do with such a large number of coins.
In 1994, legal troubles confronted Vince McMahon when he was indicted for supplying anabolic steroids to wrestlers. Despite the allegations, the court ultimately declared him “not guilty” and acquitted him of all charges. This incident often serves as an example of McMahon’s resilience and sense of humor in the face of adversity.
