Before retiring from WWE, Vince McMahon had chosed his next dream project and that was Theory. Reports suggested that McMahon saw a young John Cena in Theory and he wanted to make sure everything in his power to push him to the moon. Realistically if you look at him, Austin Theory is young, arrogant, wears similar wrestling gear like Cena did when he himself was a rookie and more importantly he doesn’t even hesitates and holds himself back on the microphone while cutting a promo. He’s been in the ring with some of the best players in the game including AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Jeff Hardy, Finn Balor just to name a few.
Mr. A-Town Down was crowned as Mr. Money in the Bank this year after he got added as a last-minute participating of the Men’s Ladder match on the appeal of his wrestling godfather Vince McMahon and that night turned out to be his biggest till date as he unhooked that contract hanging high above the ring throwing the red-hot fan favourite Riddle off the ladder and rubbing salt to everyone sitting out there inside of the MGM Garden Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
For the first time in his career, Theory main-evented Monday Night Raw in a grudge match against Dolph Ziggler, who was continuously delivering a sneak attack on Mr. MITB over the past few weeks. The match didn’t disappointed anyone as both brought their A-game and delivered a clinic but it was the cocky arrogant heel who picked up the win after executing his finishing maneuver.
Theory gets angry at recent WWE House Show, tears a Fan-sign Board
WWE is currently on their UK Tour bringing the shows from various cities. They held a live event last night in London wherein Theory once again faced Ziggler. The result was no different from this past week’s Raw as Mr. MITB emerged victorious. He celebrated his victory alongside his briefcase after the match.
When he was headed to the back, a particular fab-board caught his attention which had “You Suck” written over it and the kid holding that pointed it towards Theory to which he initially laughed at but all of a sudden snatched it away from that child and tore it down later barking that “WWE Universe Sucks” in the camera before eventually leaving.
