“Theory better not win, do not fu*king play around WWE” – Twitterati not happy with Theory winning Money in the Bank men’s ladder match
Theory wins MITB
The WWE Universe had a lot of expectations from the Money In The Bank men’s ladder match 2022 in Las Vegas. And guess what, the competitors of the contest ensured that they over-delivered. Previously this night, Theory had lost his WWE United States Championship title to Bobby Lashley. And then the spectators came across a massive twist, which the WWE is known for.
At the last moment, Theory was included in the MITB lineup alongside Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Omos, Drew McIntyre, Moss, Riddle, and Sami Zayn. It was Adam Pearce who made the announcement of Theory’s inclusion. Who knew then that it will be Theory who will take a selfie on top of the ladder with the most coveted briefcase in his arms?
The night was action-packed, and if there was one contest that took all the attention and spotlight, it has to be the men’s Money in the Bank feud. Just when the WWE Universe thought someone would win, the other guy would come out of nowhere to make a surprising twist to the event. The biggest moment of the game has to be when Riddle applied RKO on Seth Freakin Rollins from the top of the ladder.
At a time, when the Nigerian giant Omos was looking dangerous, six others in the lineup united themselves to lift Omos up and throw him into the commentators’ table, which broke into pieces on Omos’ impact. As a result of this victory, Theory now has the right to challenge the WWE Undisputed Championship title anytime anywhere within the next year.
Theory is a new addition to a star-studded winner list
Over the years, the WWE Money in the Bank event has witnessed a lot of big names lifting the briefcase. The segment was first introduced in the year 2005 when the event was a part of Wrestlemania 21. 5 years later, MITB got its first premium live event status.
The list of winners over the years includes big names such as Hall of Famers Rob Van Dam and Edge, along with others like CM Punk, Mr. Kennedy, Kane, Jack Swagger, Randy Orton, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins, to name a few. Seth and Sheamus were a part of this year’s lineup as well.
But fate was on Theory’s side this evening, at least during the MITB game. An evening, which started as pain for Theory, quickly turned into a cheerful one for him.
Twitter can’t believe what they witnessed
As usual, the Twitterati were thrilled by the outcome of the men’s MITB encounter. And they took to social media to express their excitement. This is what they had to say:
