“There is lot more to explore”- Former US Champion Theory comments on the future of WWE after Vince McMahon’s exit

WWE Superstar Theory has been on the roll since his Money in the Bank Ladder win. Theory manages to captivate the WWE Universe by portraying a cocky arrogant heel. It is not common that some wrestler becomes an instant favorite of Vince McMahon and Theory did manage to impress the former boss after stepping in the company. The former United States Champion is said to be the future of the company and has earned the respect of his colleagues too in the company.
This year has been great for Theory as he has had many opportunities and managed to grab some of them. He had been a part of the Elimination Chamber early this year and managed to stay till the end, but ultimately was eliminated by Brock Lesnar, who then won the WWE Championship for the 7th time in his career. He then set his eyes on the US title and defeated Finn Balor to win the championship. Theory was then challenged by Bobby Lashley for the title and the latter managed to defeat him at MITB Live event. Lashley even defended his title against Theory at SummerSlam.
Theory praises Vince McMahon and calls him an icon
While speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct culture Theory said, John Cena once referred to Vince McMahon as the Mount Rushmore of Sports Entertainment, and he agrees with Cena. He stated that Vince McMahon is a legend and that no one has produced anything as massive as what Vince has. The Former United States Champion said that even Triple H said that those are a hell of a shoes to fill in, after Vince retired this past month.
According to a recent report by WrestleVotes from April 2022, it stated that Theory’s push had been in full effect and that Vince McMahon anticipated bigger things for him. The report also stated that Vince sees a young John Cena in Theory and will give him everything he needs to be successful. Mr. McMahon retired from WWE in last month and many changes have been made after his departure. Triple H has been the head of creative and has made some significant changes on the rosters, Most notably calling out the released stars to the company and giving some of them a significant push. It has been said that the changes may jeopardize Theory’s push in the company.
The Former US Champion, on the other hand seems to be in content with the changes. During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, He stated that he has worked under Triple H and Shawn Michaels at NXT and had a great time working under them. He said that he feels that, under HHH there is lot more freedom and everyone would have the ability to explore. He stated that WWE is going in good direction after the changes in the company.
“Triple H was in charge in NXT along with Shawn Michaels, so I feel like there’s a lot more freedom and lot more to explore. There’s RAW and Smackdown that Triple H is taking over. I think we are going in a good direction.”
Theory’s cash in failed at the SummerSlam as Lesnar delivered an F-5 to him. It would be exciting to see this youngster’s cash in of his MITB contract.
