“He’ll cash-in but he’ll lose. So now remove the Money in the Bank from everything”, Andrew Zarian reveals that Cody Rhodes was initially going to win the Money in the Bank

Cody Rhodes is presently in the recovery phase post his injury. The surgery has been successful but the medical team has suggested he should rest. The rest duration might even extend to 9 months. WWE has plans to make Cody Rhodes as the Champion.

Theory has already won the Money in the Bank suitcase on 2nd July 2022 at the Money in the Bank that was held in Las Vegas. He earned the bag by winning the ladder match from amongst Drew McIntyre, Madcap Moss, Omos, Riddle, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins and Sheamus. The contract that the bag has is for the WWE World Championship match.

Theory is being demotivated for cashing-in his briefcase instead of Cody Rhodes

Andrew was confident enough to say that Cody Rhodes would win the US Championship. With Rhode’s getting injured, the entire storyline for the Championship changed. The only reason that the management decided to make Theory as the Money in the Bank winner was to remove the cash in condition from the show and start the things at the same level. 

In one of the interviews, Dutch Mantell talked about Theory cashing in the Money in the Bank and said, “Nobody sees him as strong enough to even step in the same ring with Brock or Roman. Nobody can – unless something happens he’s gotta run in and try to steal it. But to me, there’s no future in that“. Twitter is also filled with the comments from the audience expecting that it is not sure this time if Money in the Bank would help someone win the title. 

There are only a few days to go for SummerSlam. These kinds of comments and statements will definitely have an impact on Theory. The Money in the Bank cash ins that we have witnessed over the years have been successful to a great extent. Let’s see what the future has in plan for Theory as well as for Cody Rhodes. If he wins the title, it will be a clear reply to all the statements that people have passed for him in recent days.
