Tim White has passed away at the age of 68

Earlier today, legendary WWE referee and longtime employee Tim White cremated to the heavens at the age of 68. Service his duties for a career spanning over than 24 years, White was an integral part of the company during the 1990s. Tim started his career as a part-time ref as well as the assistant of Andre the Giant but he assumed to being a full time referee after the latter passed away in 1993.

Tim White also got a chance to officiate for one of the greatest Hell in a Cell matches of all time between The Undertaker and The Mankind which took place at King of the Ring 98’. During the match when Foley got knocked down to the ring through the top of the cell, White quickly reached out to fallen Foley to check upon him as he got really worried after the nasty fall off the cell.

White injured his shoulder during a Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Chris Jericho at Judgement Day in 2002, after returning to officiate once again in 2004 he re-injured his shoulder which led to the retirement of his career as a referee.

WWE has also extended their thoughts and condolences for Tim White and his family. White got released from his WWE contract back in 2009.

Throughout his career, White got to work with several different superstars such as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Mankind, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and many much more. He created an ever lasting impact on them during his journey. But yesterday a really unfortunate news came about the long-term WWE employee that he’s passed away from between us.
