WWE released several superstars and executives after the merger under Endeavor. Former WWE superstar Top Dolla was one of them. He was a member of the faction, Hit Row with B-Fab and Ashante Adonis. The 33-year-old expressed his feelings about his release and revealed his plans for the future.

In an interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Top Dolla said that he is still under a 90-day non-compete clause. It is a condition in which a wrestler cannot compete for any company for 90 days after their release from WWE. Top Dolla revealed he is not planning to hang his boots anytime soon after his clause expires.

He further added that he will never stop wrestling because there is no other feeling than listening to his music and walking out. He also showed interest in pursuing a music and acting career. Dolla stated that he would do everything he loved.

Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis made their debut and also had wins over some established tag teams like Viking Raiders and Legado del Fantasma. Although had the opportunity to win the tag team championships, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso defeated them. After a lackluster run, the company released Top Dolla along with many other superstars this year.

Top Dolla wanted to have a match against Michael Cole

Top Dolla and Michael Cole wanted to have a match at a premium live event, and they even had it planned out before his release. The story starts with Cole continuously making fun of Top Dolla’s in-ring botch move and then building up the feud at WrestleMania.

A fan asked him about the angle with him and the legendary commentator because the fans knew there was some kind of rivalry growing. Top Dolla revealed that he and Michael Cole wanted a match at a premium live event. He said that everything was planned and narrated how the entire thing was slated to work out.

If this had been planned out as expected, fans could’ve witnessed an entertaining match. However, after the cut, this plan was scrapped. Now, wrestling fans are excited to hear what will be the next step in Top Dolla’s wrestling journey. It will be interesting to see where he lands after his non-compete clause comes to an end.
