The post-merger talent cuts at WWE released numerous superstars this Friday. Some of those names came as a shock to the WWE Universe, while others were less significant than others. One of such jobbers included Top Dolla, who was let go but took that opportunity to buzz and made his name from it. The football player-turned-wrestler posted a short video song on his X, which has gained over 1 million views, at the time of writing.
‘Top of the World’ rap by Dolla hit the floors on Friday afternoon, just after his release from the company. In less than three days of its release, the video has been preached to a million people and has been celebrated with thousands of likes. The rap stating that Dolla finds relief in getting money has been getting the most love on X, as people could actually relate to the same.
A line in the rap stated Dolla’s supremacy, as he said himself to be “the best rapper alive. Since the day I breathed!” His hook line asked who was hotter than him, and he answered in the very next line, “Not Nada”. But the end had great significance as it stated, ‘Top Dolla will return’ without specifying about rap or wrestling. The caption of the million-view address post stated that he will be taking bookings for his performance in 2024.
The member of Hit Row made his way to the main roster in the 2021 WWE Draft but got released due to the pandemic budget cuts. The faction was brought back to the company within a year and started making an impact on SmackDown. They remained on the blue brand with fewer weekly appearances and no solid feud.
Top Dolla speaks on the potential future of Hit Row

The former Hit Row member, Top Dolla was released from WWE due to the talent cuts of the company. But Hit Row now cannot be stated as a faction having just two members. Ashante “Thee” Adonis and B-Fab technically form a mixed tag team now with no foreseeable future. Dolla has spoken about this on X stating their future.
The rapper has written his stablemates’ real names while stating that they will unfortunately continue performing in dark matches. “Prolly the 20th dark match of the year,” he wrote on his post while describing the condition of Hit Row. His reply came in a fan’s post, which stated that his dream was being killed with the release of Dolla at this stage.
