Logan Paul took the world by storm when he beat Rey Mysterio to win the United States championship at Crown Jewel. Although some people may not like him, they have to accept that he is doing a great job in the ring. Recently Cody Rhodes, one of the biggest stars of the company praised Logan Paul for his work so far in the company.
Rhodes was invited to an interview by Gabby AF and was asked about Logan. He praised him by saying he was so good and an absolute stellar performer. Here is what he had to say:
How good is he, huh? There are some what I call ‘pretend wrestlers’ in all companies, all across the world, and I think he probably irritates them the most because brother is an absolutely stellar professional wrestler. Absolutely stellar. Greatest rookie year of all time, perhaps. He is blazing forward, so I look forward to what he does.
Certainly, Logan Paul proved everybody wrong with his amazing in-ring performance. He has improved in the span of just 2 years. As a non-wrestler, other wrestlers who have been doing this for a long time also respected him for taking this business seriously.
As of now, Rhodes is in a rivalry with Judgment Day and will fight them in WarGames in the Survivor Series. And Logan Paul is waiting for the new challenger for his United States title. It will be interesting to see whether these two superstars will meet each other in the future.
Cody Rhodes also praised JD McDonagh and his potential to become a star
Although they are rivals and have gone against each other many times, Cody Rhodes praised JD McDonagh and called him a potential superstar. Cody is in a rivalry with Rhea Ripley lead Judgment Day, and McDonagh is also a part of that notorious stable.
Speaking with Gabby in her podcast, he revealed he has been one of the most impressive call-ups from NXT. He did say he didn’t have any high expectations from him. However, he will be a big-time player for the company at some point. He said:
He's been one of the mist impressive callups I feel from NXT, and I really wasn't expecting it. I didn't have low expectations, I didn't have high expectations. But that's potentially a big-time player moving forward.
Certainly, JD is an exceptional talent and has made a name for himself in such a short amount of time. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see who will come out on top in the WarGames match.
