WWE Hall of Famer, Torrie Wilson reignites an old rivalry with Brock Lesnar’s wife Sable by posting a throwback video on X. It is from a backstage segment of SmackDown from 2004 between Sable and Torrie Wilson. It shows how Sable got jealous of Torrie after the latter was chosen to make the announcement for The Great American Bash event.

Brock Lesnar’s wife ended up calling Torrie ‘fat’ which ended in a brawl between the two women. Torrie posted the video with the caption “sticks and stones may break my bones” on X. Wilson had a brief feud with Sable before the latter parted ways with WWE in August 2004.

Sable and Torrie defeated Raw Divas Miss Jackie and Stacy Keibler at WrestleMania XX. However, Sable turned heel because she got jealous of Torrie being selected to host The Great American Bash. The two had an acclaimed feud and had a match at The Great American Bash PPV in 2004.

Sable won the match at The Great American Bash by using devious tactics. Although Torrie Wilson dominated the match, the 56-year-old did a roll-up to get the win. The feud ended and Sable parted ways with the Stamford-based promotion in 2004.

It appears as if there is a silent ban on mentioning Sable’s name on WWE programming. She was one of the most controversial superstars in the company’s history. Despite being one of the most prominent female superstars during the Attitude Era, she has never attended any of the reunion shows.

Torrie Wilson once revealed that she was not allowed to mention Sable’s name during her Hall of Fame induction speech. Torrie and Sable worked with each other closely and had feuds from 2003-2004 until Sable left the company. Recently, Edge mentioned Sable in a promo, and it came as a shock to WWE fans.

Sable had some pretty controversial storylines, including flashing naked on national television. This type of content would not be ideal for WWE’s present day audience and would explain why they would not mention her. After leaving the company, she decided to lead a private life with her husband, Brock Lesnar.
