“Still not a great match”; Bobby Lashley’s defeat to Omos disappoints the fans

Omos and Bobby Lashley last faced each other at Wrestlemania 38 in what was termed by many as a mediocre match. While ‘The Dominator’ had to carry the match last time, it was interesting to see what difference MVP made in the match. The rivalry between the two was obviously made more complicated after MVP switched alliances and joined forces with Omos, promising everyone that he will make Omos a future WWE Champion.

Bobby Lashley entered the ring to a roaring crowd and The Almighty was all business from the start going straight at him with a fury of punches. But just a little distraction from MVP put him at the backfoot. Bobby mostly had to carry Omos throughout the match and was able to return some offence and with flatliner and prove his worth as ‘The Almighty’ by giving him a one-handed spine buster.

The match ended after the obvious happened when MVP, who was obviously the it-factor in the match hit Lashley with his cane while the referee was distracted. This allowed Omos to hit his finisher and while everyone was waiting for Lashley to kickout, amid the boos of fans he didn’t and was pinned 1,2,3.

The match turned out to be the way everyone predicted it would turn out to be, a lackluster outing where Bobby had to make Omos look like a superstar. Bobby was somewhat able to do that and the feud should end at this point.
