WWE is a prime example of the phrase “The show must go on,” as they continued to entertain the fans during the pandemic. Although it was one of the darkest times for WWE and the whole world, it gave wrestling fans something to enjoy. One of those moments was when WWE CCO Triple H himself joined commentary for one night. Fans got to see some of the most hilarious moments between him and legendary commentator Michael Cole.
Wrestling Pics and Clips shared a video of some of Triple H and Cole’s funniest moments during that night. All of the funny moments include Hunter hilariously mocking Cole. One of those moments was him doing the makeup on the veteran, but instead of doing makeup, he drew some lines on Cole’s chin with a marker.
When the COVID pandemic started to take the world by storm in March 2020, WWE tried to continue the programming with no fans and only a few workers on the set. One of those workers for the company was Cole, who was handling the commentary section alone. The Stamford-based promotion ran all the shows, including SmackDown, Raw, and pay-per-views, in the Performance Center for almost five months.
Now the fans are fortunate enough to go to arenas around the world and enjoy the show. Although Hunter is handling the content creative department as the Chief Content Officer, it won’t be a surprise if he comes back to the commentary booth one more time.
Randy Orton names one positive change under Triple H’s regime
Randy Orton made his iconic return to the Survivor Series after 18 long months, and fans still can’t get enough of it. When the Viper got injured, Vince McMahon was still in charge. Now that he has returned, he will work under his old friend Triple H’s regime.
The 43-year-old recently made an appearance on Logan Paul‘s podcast Impaulsive, where he talked about one positive change he has noticed under Triple H’s new leadership. When the company operated under Vince, the superstars were forced to constantly travel. Because of this, they could not meet their families and loved ones for a long time. But Hunter understood the importance of it for the betterment of superstars’ physical and mental health.
Back in the day, you were missing birthdays, you were missing anniversaries, you were missing holidays, and there was no either way about it. I think he realizes how important family time is. And that's the one thing that has changed. Now there's leniency here. He'll make sure you can get home for the birth of your baby.Randy Orton on Triple H via Impaulsive podcast
Orton has always seen Hunter as his buddy rather than a corporate figure. It will be interesting to see what Orton’s future will be under the new regime. He hinted to the fans that he could wrestle for ten more years, and many expect him to break the record for the most world title reigns.
