In the latest documentary about Cody Rhodes, “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes,” the former AEW Superstar revealed the reason for his exit from AEW. Along with Cody, Triple H also had something to say about the same concern. The King of Kings said Rhodes never dreamed of becoming the face and champion of a secondary promotion.
Furthermore, Triple H added that his lifelong dream was to become the face of WWE, where his legendary father worked. The American Nightmare also revealed that he left AEW because of a personal issue and not for money. Cody stated that he had no issue with any of the talent in AEW locker room either.
Triple H elucidated that the only reason Cody Rhodes joined WWE was to fulfill his lifelong dream. The American Nightmare always dreamed of capturing the WWE Championship, a title that his late father, Dusty Rhodes, never won in the company. Therefore, Triple H said that the Prodigal Son wanted to carry the unfulfilled dream of his late father, which made him return to WWE.
Cody Rhodes certainly made a wise move by returning to the Stamford-based promotion at WrestleMania 38. In the documentary, Rhodes added that, from a very early age, his true dream was to be in WWE. He wanted to cement the family legacy by becoming a Champion and wanted to finish the story.
Cody Rhodes is currently involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar. He has a great obstacle in his way, which he will look to put an end to at the Biggest Party of the Summer. It will be interesting to see the two juggernauts face off at SummerSlam in their third clash for supremacy.

Cody Rhodes finally addresses the fans who don’t like him wearing suits
Cody Rhodes is one of the most classy WWE superstars. His way of expressing his class and culture is through the way he dresses. The American Nightmare is famous for wearing the best suits in WWE right now. In an interview with “Sports Illustrated,” Rhodes explained his love for wearing suits.
However, many a times, The American Nightmare has been criticized for wearing these suits by the fans. He addressed these criticisms by saying a good suit, a tie and fine shoes are all the fashion elements he enjoys. Furthermore, Rhodes said “I feel good, I want to show up here and be the best dressed way I possibly can. How does it affect you?”
The American Nightmare is one of the most beloved superstars in pro wrestling. During his interview, he also said that he wanted to break the stereotype of wrestlers being denoted by bright colors. He wanted to convey that wrestlers could be educated, well-read, and cultured.
