It’s time to once again utter ‘Thank you Trish’, folks. The WWE Universe in Cleveland is in for a treat this Monday. As announced on Twitter, Trish Stratus will actually compete in a match on Raw this week. She’s scheduled to square off against Raquel Rodriguez in a Money in the Bank qualifier. Also, it will mark Stratus’ first match since the April 10th edition of Monday Night Raw.

It was the exact date when Trish turned her back on Becky Lynch. Ever since then, these women have been embroiling in a heated affair. Important things first, the WWE Hall of Famer has a chance to script history on Raw. If she do manages to qualify for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, it will mark her 1st appearance at the event as an in-ring competitor.

Speaking of her arch-nemesis Becky Lynch, she had already secured her spot in that field. So now, Trish gets an opportunity to join her disciple Zoey Stark in the match, where the newly aligned pair can play spoilsport for Big Time Becks. Ever since taking Stark under her tutelage, Stratus has grown in confidence. She can now bank on the Raw newcomer to protect her legacy and take care of her foes.

When will Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch ll happen?

Back in May, at WWE Night of Champions, Trish Stratus got the better of Becky Lynch, following an unexpected arrival from Zoey Stark. Due to the carnage caused by Zoey, Lynch suffered a broken nose, falling prey to the Toronto legend. Although their match wasn’t a workrate masterpiece, it was better than expected.

But clearly, these women are far from over at this point. There will be a rematch coming their ways soon enough. WWE won’t get a better place than Money in the Bank to set-up the next chapter of their rivalry. Based on the probable turn of events that may happen in London next month, Lynch & Stratus can settle their differences one-on-one.

SummerSlam appears to be the most likely destination for their inevitable showdown. Being dubbed as The Biggest Party of the Summer, WWE needs to fulfill an obvious fan temptation for the match card being rock solid. And, if booked more precisely, the company can amass a handsome amount of money banking on these icons identified as Becky Lynch & Trish Stratus.
