Trish Stratus returned to Monday Night Raw recently and even hinted that she could be coming out of her retirement soon. Stratus who is regarded as one of the most top rated divas in the company of all time, made a statement against Bayley’s faction The Control. One of the most popular divas of her time and carries her legacy even today said she can quickly come out of her retirement to shut Bayley’s non stop rant about herself.
The seven-time Women’s Champion who has been translated as Diva of The Decade was well received by the fans but this wasn’t the case always. In the beginning of her career Stratus was presented as a heel for a long time before she finally turned into a face.

Trish Stratus wants to have her heel persona back
Trish’s heel run started as was introduced as the manager for Test and A-Train who would act as an eye-candy for their opponents thus giving time to Test and Train to capitalise. Then Stratus would be involved in an on-screen affair with Vince McMahon and would help Vince to decimate other McMahon’s before finally turning on him at WrestleMania 17 becoming a face in the process.
Recently in an interview Stratus revealed the desire for bringing heel Trish back to the television. In a recent conversation with Ring The Belle Trish said- “Heel Trish is fun. Those lines that resonate, usually they come from a true place,” Stratus laughed it off. “I was very aware of my character and how she was. These things just came naturally to me because that’s who she was, that Trish at the time.”
She said that she resonates more with the persona and would like to bring it back if she gets a chance. She further talked about the opponents she would like to face once she turns heel. She said that her match with AEW’s Britt Baker is still on the cards after a recent photo of her in comparison with Baker went viral on Twitter.
Apart from Baker, Stratus is eyeing on the two top horses from The Four Horsemen club of the company including Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. Describing her encounter with Becky Lynch, Stratus said- “Becky Lynch and I, we had a little buzz going there before our live event in Toronto and I got to smack the taste out of her mouth, that was fun. She’s a brat though,”
To those unaware Trish Stratus is a seven-time Women’s Champion and recently made her return on RAW in Toronto and said she’s excited to be back in the company. If Trish really comes out of her retirement will WWE be kind enough to give her a heel run in the company again? Well, only time will tell as Raw’s divas action continues to go on.
