Even after approaching her 50s, Trish Stratus has no plans of slowing down. It appears like her current full-time run with WWE has restored her zeal for being in this business. As of now, she’s a permanent member of the women’s division on Raw. However, nobody knows how long before she bows out. But still, fans need to enjoy every bit of Trish while her present stint is active.

Apparently, the 47-year-old wants to risk it all at this juncture of her career. Speaking to TVA Sports, she wants to wrestle inside a cage. The structure wouldn’t really matter for the female icon. She said that she could do it inside the Elimination Chamber or maybe in Hell in a Cell. The shape doesn’t matter as long as it is a caged setting, said Stratus.

Many fans might wonder why this came out of the blue.Trish Stratus comes from an era where women’s wrestling was viewed as an afterthought. Moreover, the females often had to fight to get booked on television. That being said, Stratus never participated in a cagey bout. But, given that she has the time and her body is in shape right now, she wants to experience that before going away from the business forever.

It’s a no-brainer that Stratus’ current run in WWE isn’t going to last for too long. She came back especially to have a full-fledged program with Becky Lynch. Once it’s all said and done, there’s no word on whether Trish will stick around or not. Ever since returning this year in February, she’s had quite a few matches, barring PLEs as exceptions.

Will Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch happen at SummerSlam?

If Becky Lynch manages to beat Zoey Stark on next week’s Raw, she will get her rematch against Trish Stratus. As seen on the red brand last night, Lynch traded heavy shots with Stratus & Zoey on Miz TV. Initially, the Hall of Famer completely denied The Man’s quest for their rematch. However, as the segment progressed, Stratus changed her mind and proposed an offer to Lynch.

Becky Lynch will get the Toronto-born legend only on a single condition. For that, Becky will have to tussle with Trish’s protege, Zoey Stark. Last week on Raw, the latter upset ‘The Man’ through a roll-up victory. Needless to say, Stratus’ influence in the match played a major role in extracting the victory for her protege.

However, none of that matters, as Stark is currently 1-0 against Lynch. If somehow, the 29-year-old repeats history next week in Orlando, it’s game over for The Man. For sure, the task seems quite enormous for Becky at this point; however, to avenge her previous loss against Trish Stratus, she needs to go past her disciple first. Given that the latter beats Stark, WWE would simply book Lynch vs. Stratus at SummerSlam.
