“Feed my soul”- Wrestling Twitter explodes as Brock Lesnar makes his return on WWE Smackdown

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar finally made his long-awaited return to WWE television last night on Friday Night Smackdown for the 1st time since losing his WWE Championship to Roman Reigns in a Championship Unification match earlier this year at Wrestlemania.

Last night’s show saw Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed Universal Championship against Riddle in the main-event. This was a fantastic back and forth clinic between the two premier athletes as there were highly close near- falls being put in during the match on multiple occasions.

The ending moments of the match saw Riddle escaping Reigns’ clothesline and trying to execute a springboard maneuver on the champion in a failed pursuit as Roman caught Riddle mid-air with a massive spear to the gut after which he stacked up and pinned Riddle to retain his championship and this marked Reigns’ first successful Undisputed Universal Championship defense ever since winning it.

After the match got over, Reigns took a microphone and asked the people of Minneapolis to acknowledge him and the moment he was about to leave the ring with The Usos and Paul Heyman, something caught everyone’s attention and that was Brock Lesnar’s entrance.

Lesnar made his way through the entrance area towards the ring to a loud pop from the crowd while Reigns invited his own threat by calling Lesnar into the ring as The Beast offered Reigns a handshake to which Roman got into the traps Or and got delivered by a massive F-5 followed by The Usos also getting the same treatment.

Soon after Smackdown went off-air, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match come this year’s Summerslam scheduled to happen on July 30th at the Nissan Stadium at Nashville, Tennessee.

Fans are divided over seeing Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar one more time

Although it’s obvious that Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are two of the greatest performers this industry will ever see but they’ve fought each other way too often before and that’s the reason why some fans are completely tired of seeing them wrestle one more time. There’s no doubt that whenever these two come face-to-face with each other, the eyeballs always remains on them only.
